From the glittering islands of the Maldives to the island city of Mumbai, Chef Abhay Kumar Singh has taken a grand journey to join the culinary team at Four Seasons Mumbai as an international Sous Chef. In his last role, Chef Abhay was in charge of the kitchens at the very exclusive Four Seasons Maldives Private Island in Voavah. His expertise lies in curating menus featuring the best of western cuisine, such as Mexican, Mediterranean and Arabic.
With this current role, Abhay completes 13 nearly continuous years with Four Seasons. Apart from the Maldives, he has also worked in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, which has further enriched his view of the world, catering to the tastes of very wealthy people who seek luxury at every meal.
A well-traveled individual with refined sensibilities, Chef Abhay is the perfect fit for The Club at Four Seasons Mumbai, a place where the who’s who of Mumbai meet and are entertained. His creativity and innovation will be essential to the metamorphosis of this space over the coming months. Apart from The Club, Chef Abhay will also be working on the kitchen which is part of the city’s favorite rootop bar – AER, in the coming months.
Educationally, he holds a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hospitality Administration from IHM Thiruvananthapuram, as well as multiple culinary certifications. On a personal level, Abhay loves to travel and has ticked many iconic destinations off his list like Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Thailand and more.
