‘Refrain from online betting ads’, Center tells print, electronic and digital media

The Center on Monday limited advertisements on online betting platforms to private satellite television channels. The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in its latest notice, has asked print, digital and electronic media to refrain from all such public interest advertisements, stating that betting and gambling are illegal in most parts of the country.
