Le Meridien Mauritius

“Le Méridien has remained true to its roots and the rich heritage that dates back to its origins in the 1960s. When you look at this revival, it’s not just about renovations. It’s a nod to the past, but it’s also about recognizing how we’ve adapted and evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s world travelers,” said Jennifer Connell, Global Brand Leader, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts and Vice President, Distinctive Premium Brands, Marriott International. “Travel is back and with that, we want our guests to discover places at a pace conducive to recreation and relaxation while enjoying the simple pleasures of life in familiar yet chic places.”

Today, the brand’s quintessential design embodies a refined yet playful aesthetic inspired by the French Riviera and the relaxed, laid-back charm of the Mediterranean. Every detail is brimming with contemporary, sophisticated and glamorous style. Always chic and culture-oriented, each hotel and resort in the portfolio seeks to share an unknown dimension of the destination.

“The essence of Le Méridien is grounded in thoughtful and nuanced design – design that offers an interpretation of a destination with thoughtful details that reflect a place’s art, cuisine and culture,” said Aliyah Khan, Vice President of Design, Lifestyle Brands, Marriott International. “As we reflect on the brand’s distinct European spirit, we pay homage to design ideas that have the same impact as fifty years ago in refreshing our spaces. It is the relationship to these concepts and their evolution that allows the brand to transform and evolve its experiences.”
