England and India are set to face off in the third and final ODI match of the series at Old Trafford in Manchester. The three-game ODI series is currently locked at 1-1 with the series decider set to take place on Sunday July 17.

India are led by Rohit Sharma while England are enjoying a new era under Jos Buttler as the new white ball captain. India beat the hosts by 10 wickets in the series at The Oval only for England to return to Lord’s and seal a 100 run win to level the series.

Indian pace setter Jasprit Bumrah inspired England’s capitulation with his formidable spell to go 6 for 19 as the hosts were downed for 110 in 25.2 overs. India openers Rohit Sharma (76*) and Shikhar Dhawan (31*) made the chase extra short in 18.4 overs with their fourth stand over 100 in six innings at The Oval.

England were in a very similar situation with their top five batters back in the hut at one point with another batting collapse en route, but Moeen Ali (47) had two important partnerships – first, he teamed up with Liam Livingstone in a 46-run standing before adding another 62 with David Willey (41) – to push the score to 246 in the opening innings. England pacer Reece Topley beat his career-best 6 of 24 as the visitors were knocked out for 146 at Lord’s.
