IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has reactivated its strategic cooperation with Qatar Airways, following the lifting of the Indian government’s suspension of scheduled international flights.
Qatar Airways currently operates 190 flights per week to and from 12 destinations in India, namely Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Kozhikode, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
IndiGo operates 154 weekly flights between Doha and the following eight cities in India: Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur.

As part of this extended codeshare agreement, Qatar Airways will place its marketing code on IndiGo-operated flights between Doha and Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, from April 25, 2022, and Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kozhikode, at from May 9, 2022.

In addition to faster and more convenient connections to and from India, members of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club loyalty program will benefit from the strategic cooperation as members will soon be able to earn Avios on all codeshare flights operated by Qatar Airways. Indigo. Likewise, Qatar Airways’ generous baggage rules, which are particularly important for international travelers, apply to all codeshare flights.
