The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is working with the online B2B reseller platform, 2HUB, to conduct the Destination online training program in India.
From February 16 to May 16, 2022, the program aims to provide travel agents in India with the latest information on the Maldives tourism industry, from safety measures taken by tourism providers to unique experiences in the destination that will appeal to Indian travelers. .
2HUB has created an online platform dedicated to this training campaign. 2HUB members, including tour operators and travel agents, can log into the website and access e-learning content at their convenience.
More than 500 Indian travel partners are expected to participate in the program.
As these travel partners interact directly with more than 120,000 high-potential travellers, MMPRC hopes the training campaign will solidify India as the fastest growing source market in the Maldives.
India is among the top source markets for the Maldives in 2021. So far in 2022, the destination has welcomed 13,947 Indian travellers.
