- The 22-year-old cricketer has been absent from the Indian squad for some time now.
- He shared an Instagram story on Monday in which he was seen hitting the gym.
Prithvi has made a name for himself in domestic cricket and the IPL, but he is yet to establish himself as a regular member of the Indian team. He made his Test debut against West Indies in 2018 and scored a century in his first run and followed it up with a Series Player award, but since then has also failed to get his place in the test team. So far in his four-year international career, he has only played 5 Tests, 6 ODIs and 1 T20I.

Prithvi was in touch with IPL 2022 earlier this year but was left out of the T20I five-match home series against South Africa. In this mission, many young people had the opportunity to present their case in the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, but Shaw was overlooked.
The Mumbaikar posted a short clip of his gym session on his Instagram story. “Let’s get back to work,” he captioned the post.

Prithvi was named captain of the Mumbai Ranji team and he led them to the 2021-22 season finale, where they finished runners-up after losing the top-flight clash against Madhya Pradesh.
