The direct flight took off from Sylhet Osmani International Airport, he also said.

Calling the incident “embarrassing”, the Biman boss said it was very unfortunate that some Biman passengers behaved in such an indecent manner.

Asked about the incident, the CEO of Biman said: “We learned that it all started when a passenger’s leg touched another passenger who was seated in the next row.”

Dr Abu Saleh said Biman’s cabin crew acted in accordance with standard operating procedure and notified the respective authorities after the flight landed at London’s Heathrow Airport.

“Seven passengers involved in the brawl have been arrested by respective authorities at Heathrow Airport and legal proceedings have been brought against them,” the Biman MD also said.

In the video, a man was seen using offensive words and getting into a fight with two female passengers.
